Volunteer in Vietnam

  Vietnam
  • Hanoi:
  • Hanoi

Durations of Program: 2-4 weeks, 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks and 3-6 months
Dates: All year round. Volunteer projects start every 1st Monday of the month. Min. 4 wks. Max. 6 mos.

Description: Cultural Embrace takes you "within the river" to enjoy this beautiful nation. Here is a wonderful chance to get to discover the inner most territory of Vietnam. Get to know the local people, as well as other participants from around the world, as you explore Ha Noi for at least a month.

Cultural Embrace partners with local humanitarian and travel organizations to share knowledge about the people and cultures in and near Ha Noi. Experience how the people live, learn what their culture is all about, and provide a service to those at-need. Opt to teach English and other subjects in the local schools, or choose to travel and camp in remote villages and forests. Whatever you decide, be ready for an adventure of a lifetime!

Vietnam's overwhelming natural beauties range from the Red River Delta in the north, to the Mekong Delta in the south and almost the entire coastal strip filled with blue skies and water and green patches of rice paddies. In Vietnamese, "Ha" means river and "Noi" means within, thus the nation's capital means "within the river".
