Description: Expanish, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a unique, enriching, and unforgettable experience offering university courses at reputable private universities (credit available if applicable), Spanish classes in private or group settings, internship placements, and/or volunteering opportunities in which are combined with the following accessible workshops, weekend excursions, and cultural activities. Expanish offers a variety of programs for university students wishing to study for a few weeks up through a full year abroad.

Expanish Quarter Programs (ten or fourteen weeks long) based in Buenos Aires combine Spanish courses with weekly cultural activities, workshops from rock climbing to photography with locals outside of the classroom, three weekend excursions to Iguazu Falls, Mendoza, and Colonia, Uruguay, and the option of living with a local family or local students. Students can focus on Spanish language acquisition through their courses and their "intercambio," who acts as their language exchange partner. Participants also have the option of a volunteer placement with one of our partner non-profit organizations.

Qualifications: Students who wish to participate in the Expanish Volunteer Program as a part of their Quarter Abroad must be at least eighteen years old and speak a beginner to intermediate level of Spanish (depending on the placement). They must also include a brief essay (400 words) in Spanish expressing why they want to volunteer in Buenos Aires.
