Description:
Includes placements, housing, and meals! You'll be picked up from Windhoek Airport and taken to the site of the Noah's Ark project situated on a farm in the Omaheke region, about 250 km from Windhoek, covering 4.9 million hectares of farming land. During the past 30 years, this family-run farm has dedicated its time to establishing a suitable and secure home for neglected and orphaned wild animals and has succeeded in creating a "Noah's Ark" in the African Savannah. Projects include: * Training and feeding cheetahs and baboons * Looking after and hand-rearing baby animals * Building camps and erecting fences * Assisting with repair and building of other farm structures * Serving as a field guide for daily tours * Working as a barista or waiter at the main camp * Doing research on wild dogs

Applicants must: - Be 18-50 years of age - Be in good health - Have a positive attitude and be willing to live/work as part of a team - Enjoy working with animals and outdoor activities

Scholarships are Available. - Financial assistance is now available through the InterExchange Foundation Grant Program. Established in 2006, the Foundation aims to encourage young Americans to pursue work and life experiential programs abroad. If you have applied for, and been accepted to, an InterExchange Working Abroad program (Language Schools excluded), you may be eligible to receive a Working Abroad Grant. Details will be sent to participants upon acceptance to their programs.
