Intern and Volunteer Teach English in Thailand

Description: Internship and Volunteer Experience $600($150 for each additional month)

One to four month placements available throughout Thailand.
One day orientation in Bangkok.

Intern and Volunteer Teach English in Thailand

Highlights:

Qualified participants will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, conducting classes and following the academic learning objectives set by the school's foreign language department. Teachers will participate in providing students and parents with perfomance feedback, attend meetings with other teaching faculty and also participate in English camps.   

A typical week of instruction ranges between 20 and 25 hours; five days a week with weekends and Thai national holidays off. Teaching positions run for five and ten months beginning May and October.

Qualifications: Mature, dependable and self-motivated individuals needed to teach conversational English in elementary and secondary schools in Thailand. The focus is to help students improve their English ability to listen, speak, read and write English.

Applicants for Internship and Volunteer Experience must be at least 18 years of age with a valid passport to qualify.

Experience Required: yes

Teaching experience is required for the Experienced Teacher Placement program. Participants must have taught English for two years and have an BA degree in Education or related field.
