Getting Kids Off the Street in Cuernavaca, Mexico!

Description: You have no idea how many children (poor and homeless or even orphans) we have in our town's streets... If you're trying to learn Spanish and at the same time take part of this awesome program, then you have come to the right place...

Getting Kids Off the Street in Cuernavaca, Mexico!

Highlights: We have several agreements with different orphanages and government agencies who are actually admitting volunteers/interns from abroad who would like to help in getting the kids off the streets, and therefore, off the drugs and crime of course! Come on over and make a big difference while acquaring the language and learning the history and culture of this great country... You´ll have the most wonderful experience of your life.

Qualifications: There aren't actually any special requirements for this program, just the willingness to make a huge difference in our poor communities & speaking Spanish good enpough to get by, otherwise, the participants who are not familiar with the basic Spanish skills, will have to take Spanish lessons for at least a week (it does not have to be at TLALOC). Every is admitted at 16 years of age and up, kids under 16 must come with their parents.

Typical Volunteer: Most of the people who have participated in TLALOC's programs get involved with the orphanage shelter more than any other activity, that's why today TLALOC is focusing and trying to bring everyone's attention into this project which has been really forgotten, obviously it is also part of the orphanage but in a different way... perhaps the participants from abroad can bring out new ideas in how to convince the kids not to do drugs and to allow the orphanage help them out... GOD will reward everyone for this richly!

TLALOC strives to help the students to learn the Spanish language in a highly and efective method, especially the way it is spoken in Mexico with a motivated method that is at an affordable price. We also promote mutual cultural experience from Mexico and Latino America. As a plus, TLALOC has different volunteering and internship opportunities so that the participants can help out in make a big difference in the sorrounding poor communities that arise every day in Mexico.
