Description: Volunteer in hospitals, schools, or clinics located in Cape Town or in the townships located outside the city center. Opportunities range from working with children to adults. Volunteer, learn, and explore in one of the world's most beautiful cities.

Highlights: Cape Town is rated as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and for good reason: few cities are home to white sandy beaches, scenic hiking trails, spectacular ocean views, and a 1,086 metre tall mountain!

Cape Town is also a city of sharp contrasts, where you can explore issues of social change and diversity and learn about new cultures.

Connect-123's Community Service Volunteers, who primarily work with disadvantaged youth, make a lasting, tangible impact on local communities.

Qualifications: Volunteer opportunities are available for students interested in mentoring / tutoring as well as for experienced counselors and community service workers.
