International Volunteer Opportunities- Mexico
Mexico
- Central Highlands:
Guanajuato
Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Typical Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks
Dates: Ongoing
Description:
A typical expedition includes a village stay either in a school house or community center. You will be working on some sort of project, side by side with the villagers. The volunteer opportunity is a chance to connect with people living in circumstances much different than yours while expanding your global vision.
Highlights:
The best part about volunteering with CHOICE Humanitarian is the chance to make lasting friendships with people who don't speak your language. The bonds you will make while in the village transcend language, social or economic class, and proximity. Friendships that last a lifetime, combined with memories of hard work and extreme living conditions highlight our volunteer opportunities.
Qualifications:
There are no special qualifications for our expedition opportunities. You will be living in primitive conditions, eating unusual foods, and sleeping on cement floors therefore come with an open mind and strong hands.
