Volunteer Work Exchange Program
Hawaii (USA)
Durations of Program: 5-8 weeks and 3-6 months
Typical Duration of Program: 3-6 months
Dates: open all year
Description:
We require volunteers to work 25 hrs per week (weeding, planting, watering, painting, domestic duties, and cleaning). The work is hard, but very rewarding. Because we are a wellness center (that provides retreats for those just diagnosed with cancer, cancer aftercare and cancer survivors, and those wanting personal qigong training) we ask that volunteers be respectful of those going through our residential healing programs. We ask volunteers to come to our farm and center with an open heart to the possibilities that the Universe offers to all of us for self betterment. Previous volunteers have said that their experience at KoKoLuLu Farm and Qigong Center was very positive and life changing! We hope that you will join us on this healing journey for yourself and KoKoLuLu! Aloha and Peace Lew and Karin Whitney KoKoLuLu Farm and Qigong Center Hawi, Hawaii
Highlights:
KoKoLuLu Farm and Qigong Center is located in Hawi on the nothern tip of the Island of Hawaii The spectacular North Kohala coast location, where trade winds deliver some of the cleanest air in the world, is an area that is rich in sacred sites and cultural heritage that lead to healing the soul and offer magnificent hiking and bicycling opportunities. The near-by old Hawaiian villages of Hawi and Kapaau are within walking distance. The Dragon Water Gardens or the Chinese Temple offer an ideal setting for stress reduction and contemplation for improved self-awareness and self-care.
