Description:
Volunteers in this programme would teach in private, government, or mission schools either in the Primary, Junior Secondary School or Senior Secondary School depending on choice. In these schools, volunteers could teach one or more subjects like Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, Business Management, Computer Skills and others. Participants will receive assistance from the school authorities and the teachers of the school regarding the lesson plans and teaching curriculum. Volunteers are also welcome to bring along teaching/learning materials such as picture books, instruments, flash cards, art supplies and songs. Are you a nurse, doctor or are about to enter the field of nursing or medicine? Then join our volunteer program for both theory and practical knowledge. In clinics, volunteers will be placed in the following departments: weighing, maternity room, injection room, laboratory room, dispensary room and any other department of your choice. Nurses and doctors will receive assistance from authorities of the clinic.

To improve English conversation and writing skills among students and adults in the rural areas of the Dangme-West, to raise sanitation and environmental awareness, to increase access to information on health, sexual-transmitted diseases (HIV / AID) and birth control and to create job opportunities for women and men in low-income communities.

Help a Clinic and a School in Ghana is a based organization. We do require our participants to be of the same faith. Our volunteers will not be involved in religious proselytizing.
