Description: Are you creative, an artist with an urge to travel, a disillusioned teacher or sick of 9-5 & don't know how to escape? Then we want to hear from you! We are looking for all creative people who have an urge to do something more - to travel with purpose.

If you can act, play guitar, juggle, sing, tell stories, dance, paint, build, teach circus skills, sculpture, design, puppetry or even if you are a photographer, jewellery or film maker, keen gardener or DIYer We Need You!

Creative Corners is a UK based not for profit volunteer organisation that specialises in creative projects for creative people.

* We aim to stay specialised and focused on creative projects which means finding talented artists, teachers and creative people so that we can create a passionate and creative network of artists pitching their vision and skills to creatively change lives around the world.
* Our projects are well planned, affordable and 100 % of our profits are donated to our parent charity Arts for Change to set up music and arts centres in orphanages and homes for disadvantaged, abused and abandoned children where our projects are based.
* We also encourage volunteers to strive for an element of public performance, exhibition, installation, recording or publication of the work produced during the project. Process will always be important, but striving towards a final goal or product whether that be a performance, photo exhibit, CD recording or published calendar, provides a tangible goal and WIN/Win situation for everyone involved.

Creative Volunteer Projects

Highlights: Highlights of a trip with Creative Corners could include: Play devising in a Bolivian orphanage, teaching photography to street kids in Honduras, singing to teen mums in Nicaragua, jewellery and design skills to orphaned boys, skill-sharing in a Brazilian social circus, redecorating a childrens home in Guatemala, or designing a garden in a Peruvian Orphanage.

No matter what your skill we will work with you to help you use it a creative way to plan a volunteer project that works for you and the children.

Why not learn how to teach jewellery making before you go? Digital photography? Paper mache puppets? Building Greenhouses? The possibilities are endless..
