Description: The rural health care centers in South Africa are not adequately equipped. As a qualified volunteer in South Africa health project, you will assist the local doctors and nurses in a clinic or a hospital in the rural areas. You will also provide tips on health education, sanitation, nutrition to the patients. You will work for 25-35 hours a week. This project is only volunteers with medical background like students, nurses and health care professionals.

It is helpful for the volunteers to learn Zulu or Xhosa language and our South Africa volunteer projects also tailor four days of orientation and cultural immersion program to learn some basic indigenous language, South African culture and lifestyle prior to starting the voluntary work.

Highlights: The exotic landscapes, the rich culture, history, and archaeology and the ever friendly people makes South Africa a destination for every kind of travelers. Relax in one of the safest, cleanest and environmentally friendly beaches of the world and South Africa boasts 20 beaches as such around the beautiful country. Get carried away by the cascading waterfalls while you walk or hike. Volunteering in South Africa is almost like collecting and capturing all the beautiful experiences that you encounter at every step of your journey.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have medical education and/or health care industry experience. Other qualified candidates include; all medical professionals, medical students, medics - EMT or EAC, long-term hospital volunteers, and military trained medics.
