Description:
In Nepal, there is a growing demand for English education. As a volunteer teaching English in Nepal, you can make a difference in the life of the children who are dreaming of working abroad in the future. It's a fantastic project that offers opportunities for social interaction, personal growth, and to support children who otherwise cannot get a chance for a good English education. As a Nepal volunteer English teacher, you will work as an English instructor in public and private schools teaching English for 2-3 hours a day/six days a week to students between 6-13 years old. You will assist the local English teachers in teaching methods and classroom curricula. You may also be asked to assist in other school activities. During the time when the school is closed for a long duration, you can choose to work as an orphanage volunteer. It is helpful for the volunteers to learn some Nepali language, so our Nepal volunteer program also tailors one week Language and Cultural Immersion Program to learn the language basics and about Nepali lifestyle and culture. The LAC is optional and runs the first week of your arrival in Nepal, prior to beginning your volunteer commitment. The LAC includes guided excursions to local villages, markets and other places of interest.

Institute For Field Research Expeditions's Mission Statement: The mission of our volunteer abroad program is to offer meaningful volunteer abroad opportunities for volunteers and to seek sustainable solutions for education, health, conservation, and development issues through international volunteering. We hope to achieve this goal by offering community orientated volunteer programs where the efforts of our volunteers go directly to the poor people and their communities.
Many grass-root organizations working in developing countries are poor in resources. These organizations are doing a commendable job to address development, education, health, and conservation issues by launching a variety of programs but these organizations are in a great need of help and support. IFRE promotes these local organizations by making donations and sending volunteers.
