Description:
As a Nepal volunteer in an orphanage project, you will teach English to the orphans living in the orphanage. You can also teach other subjects like math and science and help the children to build their creative geniuses. You can also participate in tours, games, drawing classes, singing, dancing, painting and other activities the children enjoy. Additional help in the kitchen to prepare meals and assistance in administrative work might be expected. Working in the orphanage offers the opportunities to the volunteers in Nepal to share their time, love, and passion for those children who have rarely experienced love in their life. It is helpful for the volunteers to learn some Nepali language, so our Nepal volunteer programs also tailor one week Language and Cultural Immersion Program to learn the language basics and about Nepali lifestyle and culture. The LAC runs the week of your arrival, prior to the start of your volunteer commitment. The LAC includes guided excursions to local villages, markets and other areas of interest.

Institute For Field Research Expeditions's Mission Statement: The mission of our volunteer abroad program is to offer meaningful volunteer abroad opportunities for volunteers and to seek sustainable solutions for education, health, conservation, and development issues through international volunteering. We hope to achieve this goal by offering community orientated volunteer programs where the efforts of our volunteers go directly to the poor people and their communities.
Many grass-root organizations working in developing countries are poor in resources. These organizations are doing a commendable job to address development, education, health, and conservation issues by launching a variety of programs but these organizations are in a great need of help and support. IFRE promotes these local organizations by making donations and sending volunteers.
