Costa Rica Protecting Endangered Birds Quest:

Volunteers work to protect the endangered Great Green Macaw and Scarlet Macaw by breeding and reintroducing them into the rainforests of Costa Rica.
Duties include: Cleaning cages and plates; collecting fruits from the garden to feed the birds; preparing food and feed the birds (every 3 hours); observing the birds and take notes to detect illness; dealing with aggressive behavior; taking records of the weights of the smaller birds; maintaining the fruit and vegetable garden; and making records and reports.
