Children's Performing Arts School

Description: A training & performance school in Accra are looking for volunteers to help in the office and teach drama & dancing to their children. The children from this school have participated in high-profile concerts around the world, such as Bono's Heart of America Tour and Nelson Mandela's 46664 concert.

Children's Performing Arts School

Highlights: We require the following volunteers:

Dance instructor: A keen dancer is needed to help with the creation of new dance routines. The ideal volunteer would have experience as a dance instructor.

Office administrator: The office in Accra is in need of someone who can help with the administration, draft proposals and help organize the office. You must have previous office experience and have a good working knowledge of both excel and word.

Drama Teacher: A dedicated Drama Teacher is needed for all the shows the children perform in. The ideal volunteer would have previous experience as a drama teacher.

Music Teacher: A music teacher is needed to teach a range of instruments, and also voice and choir to the talented children at the storehouse. The volunteer must have previous music teaching experience.

Qualifications: The dance and drama instructors must have either an academic background or have previous working experience in their relevant fields. The office administrator must have previous experience with working in an office environment. All assignments require an interest in children and the performing arts.
