Durations of Program: 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks, 3-6 months, 7-12 months and 1-2 years
Typical Duration of Program: 2-4 weeks
Dates: year around

Description:
1. Elementary education assistance within a barrio school, tutoring in school subjects as well as teaching crafts, art, music, sports any special talent that a volunteer can offer.
2. Tutor small group of teenage males in high school subjects (sciences, math, creative writing, etc).
3. Facilitate small group interaction among teenage males regarding gender issues, their futures, values, cultural differences, etc.
4. Veterinarians and veterinary technicians needed for local animal clinic.
5. Readers for community library's children's groups.

Qualifications:
- Speak and comprehend Spanish at an intermediate or higher level.
- Commit to at least two weeks, preferably longer.
- Experience in working with children and-or older youth (18 to 21).
- Ability to work as a self directed volunteer, if necessary, or within a group of volunteers.

There is no cost to our organization. Volunteers are responsible for their own expenses.
