We work with two very worthwhile projects. The Beneficencia Publica de Trujillo cares for abandoned / orphaned children, and the Centro Educativo Carlos A. Mannucci looks after kids/adults with mental disabilities like Down's Syndrome, autism and deafness. The Centro Educativa Carlos A. Mannucci was founded 44 years ago as a charity, and around 20 years later the center received recognition as a public school, and nowadays it is partly financed by the government and partly by the parents, through tuition fees. The Beneficencia Publica de Trujillo was founded in 1917 and presently houses about 40 orphans and many more underprivileged children during the day. The kids ages range from 1-12 years old. If you want to be excited by travel, if you want to see a side of the world that package tourists can only dream of and if you want to make a difference to the world we live in... get in touch, join the fight against mindless holidays and save some hard-earned cash!
