Organizing social and educational activities with children in Parcona

Duration of Program: 2-4 weeks
Dates: July 9 - July 28

Description: This project is run in partnership with an educational institution that promotes educational activities for children from 2 to 6 years old. The main objective is to educate the children in universal values, good habits and realize pedagogic activities (games and activities to promote the interaction with the children). In this frame, a group of international volunteers is invited to share this work and to interact with the teachers and the children of the institution.

July 9 - July 28, 2008
August 6 - August 25, 2008
September 3 - September 22, 2008
October 1 - October 20, 2008
October 29 - November 17, 2008
November 26 - December 15, 2008

Volunteers will help in different activities, support the teachers in the daily activities, play with the children, help in the English classes and participate in the preparation of the materials, communal activities as well as some maintenance activities for the building and clearing campaigns.

There is an extra fee of 210 Euro for participation in this project, intended to support the local hosting organization.
