Description: Lend a hand in the field and learn traditional barefoot Oriental medical practices. This trip is designed for the TCM undergraduate or postgraduate, but is not limited to any one profession or type of person. Anyone who is interested in helping out and wants to experience this incredible Tibetan health pilgrimage can join the crew. We will be stopping in every village around Mt. Meili and offering a week of free treatments to local Tibetans of each village. The entire trip will last 4-6 weeks; we can arrange for pick-up and pilgrimage entry for any duration and during any time along the way. Due to the rugged nature of the trip, only those who have hiking and camping experience are suited for this health pilgrimage. The group will be traveling mostly by foot; horses and motor vehicles are used occasionally to haul supplies. If you have a history of altitude sickness please consult your physician before enrolling in this program.
