Description:
We are Students Travel and Exposure South Africa (STAESA) a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). STAESA works very closely with groups, individual, schools, colleges, universities, communities and NGOs in capacity building, development and sustainability. STAESA has been in existence since 1995. STAESA programs are not just for students -- everyone can participate. STAESA started working in South Africa. Today STAESA sends over 100 volunteers to more than 60 communities in more than 15 countries in Africa. We also connect over 100 foreign NGOs and individuals, schools, colleges, and universities to programs, events, and community projects in Africa.
Highlights:
Ghana boasts of beautiful sandy beaches, lagoons, Wli falls, Kakum National Park, Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary, Bia National Park, and Mole Game Reserve which are options for hiking, wildlife spotting and seeing savannahs and rainforest. Ghana is also endowed with its unique, rich culture, and is the gateway to West Africa. Ghana is a very peaceful nation in Africa with very friendly people with a unique and powerful culture. It is a country you will want to visit again and again. Ghana is situated in West Africa and is bounded by Burkina Faso, Togo, the Atlantic Ocean, and Cýte d'Ivoire.
Qualifications:
No previous experience or qualification is necessary. The most important qualifications are: you must be 18 and above, self-motivation, open-mindedness, flexibility, and a sense of humour. Also, the ability to travel independently and mould your own experience is strongly suggested!

Cost in US$: USD395
Cost Include Description:
The program fee covers food and accommodation, administrative charges, airport pickup, first night accommodation, transportation to placement site, orientation and supervision, Mini-Adventure, and STAESA's Communities Development Projects, but excludes insurance, traveling and other living expenses.

(1) International Students Identity Cards will be issued to participants on arrival for discount purposes.
(2) Five days orientation is organised for all participants
(3) Participants will be given bicycles where necessary to shuttle between their respective work places and
homes. Participants return the bicycles to STAESA's office at the end of the programs
(4) Participants will be provided with handsets for easy contacts. STAESA takes back the handsets at the
end of the programs
(5) Certificate of participation is awarded to all participants at the end of the programs
(6) Program fees include one month visa extension fees
(7) Affordable health / travel insurance USD$ 120 for 90 days
