Description: Come live and work in a beautiful Italian castle. Interns are expected to look after guests and do housekeeping, as well as helping out in their desired field, such as gardening, marketing, research, admin or cooking.

Great food, music and art, with regular art exhibitions, music concerts and parties.

Living in an 18th Century castle with a 14th Century tower, woods, gardens and a 3000-book library.

Making a difference to a non-profit organisation trying to promote the arts and maintain a beautiful estate.

Qualifications: Basic degree in the arts and some Italian an advantage, but most important is a happy manner, an interest in culture and the motivation to work off your own bat.

Reading Retreats in Rural Italy's Mission Statement: The Castle of Galeazza is the seat of the non-profit cultural association Reading Retreats in Rural Italy. The property includes over 10 acres of woodland, a beautiful garden and a 3000-book library. It is situated in the heart of northern Italy, a 40-minute drive from the city of Bologna.
