Our programs in Kenya immerse our volunteers into the rich and varied culture of Kenya. We have programs in Nairobi where volunteers live and work in one of Africa's largest cities. Our programs also take place in Machakos where volunteers experience life in rural Africa. Volunteers can stay as little as one week or as long as six months. Here are the programs we offer in Kenya: Teaching, Wildlife Volunteering, Orphanages, HIV/AIDS Volunteering, and Healthcare.
Highlights:
Kenya is well-known for its incredible wildlife parks, but of course there is so much more to this wonderful East African country. Kenya has over 70 tribal groups and many languages, with English and Swahili spoken throughout most of Kenya. The country's capital city Nairobi is often referred to as the birthplace of humanity. And Kenya is one of Africa's more politically stable countries.
Qualifications:
Cosmic Volunteers requires fluency in English for most programs. For medical volunteers, Participants must be studying or practicing in the healthcare field, such as doctors, nurses, EMT's, medical students, and nursing students.
