Description: Global Crossroad's Volunteer Honduras Orphanage volunteer project in Honduras offer volunteers a marvelous opportunity to help children who used to live on the streets and have been rescued by child care organizations to provide them care, love, education and recreation. You will get involved with a range of activities that offer learning as well as love to orphaned children.

In our Honduras volunteer project, you can work part time or full time. You will help the children by teaching basic English, playing games, dancing, drawing and other activities using your skills and imagination. You may be asked to help with other tasks around the orphanage, such as preparing food or doing laundry. Language expertise and knowledge of child psychology are advantages but not necessary. Helping these children will give them the opportunity for a better life in the future. In Honduras there are many teenagers involved in gangs and criminal activities, mainly due to the lack of love and attention from their parents. Help keep these children off the streets and out of trouble, so they have a chance to grow up to be happy, productive citizens as adults.
