Description:
Touch a life - make a difference - love a child! Do all this and more in Global Crossroad's Tanzania Orphanage Project. Our partner orphanage center cares for orphans from the Mbeya municipality and neighboring areas. These children need love, attention, care - and a little help with their English and their homework! Volunteers in this Tanzania project will help prepare the children for school in the morning and assist them with their homework and practice their English in the afternoons after school, along with leading them in games and activities. Volunteers will also help prepare meals, wash clothes and dishes, and perform other tasks around the orphanage during the day. This Tanzania volunteer project also allows you the chance to work proactively in the orphanage's community outreach program.This program works to identify orphaned children in the community and provide the shelter and care they need to prevent them from growing up alone and on the streets.
