Tanzania's local schools have a dire need for teachers fluent in English. As the language of commerce in the region and one of the official languages of the country, the importance of English grows daily. In the Volunteer Tanzania English Teaching project, volunteers will contribute their time and energy working with children of all ages, teaching them basic and conversational English. Games, drawing, and other creative activities are helpful additions to the school day. Other subjects can also be taught if you have knowledge or experience in other areas. There is a range of teaching abroad opportunities in Tanzania ranging from pre-schools and primary (elementary) schools to high schools and colleges. This volunteer opportunity in Tanzania provides the chance of a lifetime to make an impact on the future success of these children.
