Description:
Conservation work in Sri Lanka focuses primarily on tasks that involve tending plants in the coconut nursery. The job is physically demanding and may include seeding, weeding, watering, and related activities. Sri Lankans are also employed and work with volunteers in the nursery. Coconut nurseries are located in the midst of large, beautiful coconut farms. If interested, volunteers may also help local workers with their coconut harvests and other related tasks.
