Nestled amongst majestic pine and palm trees, Escuela Caribe sits below the town of Jarabacoa (Har-a-ba-ca). It is here on this Caribbean island of Hispaniola (the land of Columbus) that one will find a little of Old Spain. Amid wide, palm-fringed beaches, rice paddies, and majestic mountains live a handsome, gentle people who love and welcome Americans. The unique combination of experiences provided at Escuela Caribe has a most profound impact. Because of the places they have been, the things they have done, and the persons they have become, students begin to view themselves much more positively.
