Description:
Our programs take place in the Visayas region of the Philippines, a beautiful area about 350 miles from Manila. You can teach English at an elementary school, volunteer at an orphanage, intern at a medical facility, or work with street children. There are urban as well as rural locations to choose from, it's up to you. Our homestays place you with a local family who will welcome you as one of their own. Stay from as little as 1 week to 3 months, with start and end dates that are entirely flexible.
Qualifications:
Cosmic Volunteers simply requires fluency in English. However, healthcare participants must be studying or practicing in the healthcare field, such as doctors, nurses, EMT's, medical students, and nursing students.
