Description: An unforgettable experience, full of life and joy. The perfect launchpad for an independent, worthwhile and fulfilling experience in Brasil. Our staff is always on hand to offer advice, help out with any problem or just recommend a good party. Placements are formatted according to the volunteers' abilities and interests and our partner organization necessities, in a way it is productive and rewarding for all.

Volunteers partake in projects developed and operated by local partner organizations and their respective community councils. Volunteers have a unique experience of by actively participating in developing communities for a fairer world while creating a rich personal opportunity for cultural exchange.
They have the chance to experience Brazil from a community perspective.

Iko Poran caters to an increasing demand for better logistics in the reception, lodging, transportation and allocation of international volunteers who wish to perform in social development projects in Brazil. The goal of all the programs is to strengthen the partner insitutions, so that they can produce more significant results and reach more beneficiaries with a better quality of service.

Applications for volunteer programs in Brazil are accepted from individuals willing to teach or apply any of the following skill sets at beginner or advanced levels:

- Business & Management (Marketing, Finance, Fundraising, Entrepreneurship, etc..)
- Circus training (Acrobatics, Balancing, Clown, Aerials, Juggling, Choreography)
- Graphic Design
- Animation, Video
- Theatre (Acting, Costume design, Illumination, Carpentry, Other)
- Cinema (Production, Editing, Sound, Cinema history)

- Other unique skill offered by the international volunteer that fulfills NGO values and objectives will also be considered.

Cost Include Description:
What is included in the program fee:

- Development of the volunteer placement together with the partner organization
- Initial support to locate public transportation means to and from the project
- Program management and administrative fee
- Donation to the partner organization (50% of the NET placement fee)
- Orientation and information about the city, guides, listings, tips, maps, health issues and safety
- Airport pickup by an Iko Poran representative
- Lodging in one of our comfortable volunteer houses (first 4 weeks)
- Assistance in the case of emergencies
