Volunteer in Arabic Language Teaching

Durations of Program: 2-4 weeks, 9-12 weeks and 3-6 months
Typical Duration of Program: 9-12 weeks

Description: The volunteer is to teach Arabic language to local people who are interested to know Arabic culture and intend to learn more about Islamic religion. Also to those who intend to look for jobs in Arabic countries.

Highlights: The volunteer is to teach only twice a week for two hours so that the volunteer will have enough time for private activities to see and to meet local people and enjoy their stay. The volunteer will have enough time to visit various destinations and excursions during the week ends and holidays.

The volunteer will be provided with one month intensive Indonesian language training to easily communicate with local people to better enjoy the stay.

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- Good health
- Fluency in Arabic language
- Insurance coverage
- Ability to be and enjoy being in a different culture
- A Moslem in faith
- Good capability in communicating with people

Cost in US$: 1,750 for three months stay

Cost Include Description:

- Pick up at local airport in Makassar
- Room/accommodation
- Food twice a day during at home
- Maximum three days city orientation
- One month intensive Indonesian language course
- Consultation wherever and whenever needed during the whole stay

Insurance is not provided. Every volunteer has to be covered by health insurance. Allianz Insurance is recommended, since Allianz is the only international insurance company which has it brach office in Makassar. The health insurance may also be purchased at Allianze in Makassar before arrival.
