Description:
Volunteers in the Sri Lanka project offer English teaching programs in Embilipitiya, a rural town located 180 km from the capital city of Sri Lanka, where the youths, mostly between the ages of 2 and 6, have been seeking help to improve their knowledge of English in order to use it in the job market.
Qualifications:
General knowledge of the English language basics

Experience Required: no
Typical Volunteer: Volunteers will use one-on-one techniques and methods of teaching English in a fun and innovative matter, and if you are not entirely confident in your teaching abilities you can be a teaching assistant.
Age Range: 18+ (if you are under 18 you will need parental/guardian permission)
