Description: Australia proudly exhibits a friendly and relaxed environment. With a country that is clean, full of resources, vast landscape and beautiful climate, Australia attracts visitors from all over the world. The Australian population is well educated and multicultural. It has a single language (with little variation of accents across the country) and the population enjoys a comfortable standard of living.

Highlights: IIVN personally works with each participant to customize their internship or volunteer experience abroad. Tell us where you want to go, what you want to do and for how long and we will make it happen for you!

Qualifications: Applicants for each program must: Be at least 18+ years of age by start date of program; Present current Resume or Curriculum Vitae, Statement of Purpose and two Referrals for program participation; Internship candidates must be currently enrolled in, or a graduate of, an approved higher education institution; Internship candidates must present a Transcript or Certificate of study related to the occupational category they are applying for; Volunteer candidates must have a strong desire to contribute to the betterment of society and help those less fortunate, including women, children, the homeless and ailing; All participants must speak fluent English. In some cases, candidates must have an intermediate + conversation level of the language of the host country they desire to visit. Participants must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, dependable, flexible, open-minded and eager to experience new cultures; be committed to the duration of the project selected; Have a valid e-mail address throughout their program.

Applicants must be aware that the programs are a personal & professional growth/training experience that will be useful for future development, and their placement may not be at a managerial or senior level. Participants should not try to use their program participation as a step to getting hired permanently by the host employer/association, as this may lead to disappointment and may violate government regulations.

Cost Include Description:

Professional Internships:
* 6 weeks = $2550.00 USD
* 7 12 weeks = $2850.00 USD
* 13 30 weeks = $3100.00 USD
* 21 26 weeks = $3500.00 USD

Hospitality Internships:
* 26 weeks = $3950.00 USD
* 38 weeks = $4250.00 USD
* 52 weeks = $4650.00 USD

*RSA Online Course = $110 AUD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Course is a pre-requisite for all Hospitality Internship Programs and must be completed prior to commencing the internship.

Premier Program Inclusions:

- All program application fees
- Although housing is not included in the program fee, it is offered through the receiving organization at a special rate
- Assistance with applicable Visa paperwork and submission to DIAC
- We are pleased to provide participants with transportation to/from the airport, in their host country, to their housing location
- An Arrival Orientation will be conducted to ensure a smooth transition and may include a city tour, language instruction, an introduction to the host countries culture and customs, in addition to other important information
- Although Intl Travel Medical Insurance is not included in the program fee, it is offered through the receiving organization at a special rate
- Customized and Professional Program Development - taking into consideration each participant's personal goals, experience and qualifications, in addition to the Host Employer/Association needs
- Confirmed Program Placement - prior to departure
- Pre-Departure Materials - including detailed Participant Handbook outlining important Intl Travel & Program Information
- Academic Credit - Your higher education institution maintains complete decision making over the extension of credit for participation.
- IIVN is pleased to provide the information necessary to assist the institution with this decision;Certificate of Completion
- Program Supervision, 24/7 Emergency Service and Participant Support - to ensure all of your needs are met

Unless otherwise noted, IIVN Premier Programs do not include:

- Round-Trip Airfare & Airport Taxes
- Passport/Visa Fees or other fees associated with securing additional legal work/travel documents that may be required
- Housing
- Meals
- Travel/Medical Insurance
- Personal Expenses
- Immunization Fees (as applicable)

Salary / Pay: All Hospitality & Ski Resort placements are paid and vary based on position held.

Experience Required: yes

Participants interested in the ski resort and hospitality programs must have previous experience. Experience not necessary for other professional programs, however it is helpful.

Typical Volunteer: Our programs are unique as they are for participants who want to expand their resume in order to become more competitive in the academic or professional world. We are also very interested in helping graduate students, or those who have been out in the work force for a while, explore new career options through a customized internship or volunteer program in their new field of interest!
