Description: Participate in CHI's Overseas English Tutor (OET) program! CHI will set you up with a host family in the country of your choice. You will live with your family and tutor them in basic conversational English for up to 15 hours a week. The program can run from one to three months. Some knowledge of the language is recommended, but not required. Teaching experience is not required.

This program includes: A private room in your host family, meals, a textbook to help you tutor, host family details before your program fee is due, and in-country support. Qualifications: Participants must be at least 18 years old, fluent in English and willing to live and adapt to another culture's customs. Participants must be born in the United States or Canada.
