Description:
Spend anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 year volunteering in an ancient and wondrous land! We strongly encourage you to take our intensive language classes before you start your volunteer placement if you are a beginner or if you just want to brush up. The majority of projects are located near the capital of Lima although there are placements to be found all over the country. The individual tasks that you will perform vary by the project. Some of the placements available to volunteers include:Working in orphanages, Aiding jungle clinics, nursing homes or mental, hospitals, Archeological excavations, Working with rural and indigenous communities, Conservation and environmental protection projects. Qualifications:
Intermediate knowledge of Spanish is preferred, although we do have some positions which do not require any knowledge. If you wish to attend language classes prior to the program start, we can arrange this as well; Minimum 18 years old; Prospective volunteers should be flexible, physically fit and willing to immerse themselves in another culture.
