Description: Spend your vacation making a difference while you get to know one of the world's most beautiful countries, as no tourist will! Whether you volunteer in the central highlands, the western lowlands, the Galapagos Islands or the rich jungles of the Amazon, you will have the opportunity to experience all that exotic Ecuador has to offer. The individual tasks that you will perform vary by placement. Some examples of the placements available to volunteers include: Working in orphanages or centers for street children, Aiding hospitals, health centers or medical foundations, Tutoring and mentoring youth at risk. Working with rural and indigenous communities, Conservation and environmental protection projects, Working with small businesses. It is also possible to take Spanish classes before you start your project! We provide you with room and board, airport pickup, orientation, placement, insurance, local support in country and in the United States and more. Don't wait; contact us now for more information!

Qualifications: Intermediate knowledge of Spanish is preferred, although we do have some positions which do not require any knowledge. If you wish to attend language classes prior to the program start, we can arrange this as well; Minimum 18 years old; Prospective volunteers should be flexible, physically fit and willing to immerse themselves in another culture. You must be able to receive a tourist visa Ecuador.
