Volunteers required for a number of positions based on their skill and interest areas. BERUDEP work in a wide range of areas and help beneficiaries in all rural development issues. Main departments are health, agriculture, rehabilitation, social work, Christian ministry, Eco-tourism. BERUDEP is a small organisation with a large reach and staff dedicated to providing opportunities for all who seek to improve themselves. Any person willing to contribute to a dedicated organization for any period of time is welcome. No matter your age, sex or level of education (experience), someone in Africa needs your help. What job can I do while in Cameroon: This depends entirely on you. We can use teachers, farmers, managers, social workers, health educators, administrators, laborers, computer students etc. If we think that your field of interest is not applicable to what our organisation does, we can link you with schools and organizations in your field. Within Cameroon there are people who need help and can benefit from your expertise in any area from teaching to nursing to administration. Let us know your interest or skills and we can discuss what is the best option for you. Meet experienced staff in the field that will give the volunteer a 24 hrs support every day all through the volunteer program.
Highlights:
Sustainable community development requires a holistic understanding of the barriers that prevent community development. BERUDEP programs are aimed at multi levels of the community to attack the barriers that lead to poverty.

Belo Rural Development Project's Mission Statement: BERUDEP work towards poverty alleviation of the rural population through education, health, income generating activities, and support of the disabled. BERUDEP teaches the rural population to be independent and to learn skills and methods of production which lead to self sustainability. Teaching others to help themselves.
