Mexican Orphanage Volunteer Help

Durations of Program: 1-2 weeks, 2-4 weeks, 5-8 weeks and 9-12 weeks
Typical Duration of Program: 1-2 weeks

Description: Duties vary each day, from tutoring school kids with their homework, helping the women sell their sewing projects, cooking for the staff and residents, helping with grant-writing, building homes for graduating women, building solar-panel stoves, facilitating conversation and parenting meetings to the children and women, sharing your heart to others and keeping it open to receive more.

Mexican Orphanage Volunteer Help

Qualifications:
-Enjoy providing a service and working with others.
-Capable to live and work in basic and sparse conditions.
-Spanish knowledge preferred.

Cost Include Description:

* Placement assistance and pre-departure preparations
* One week of Spanish lessons and host family room & board in Queretaro. Additional Spanish lessons, room and board available before or after the program dates
* Basic accommodations with full board at project site in Amealco Volunteers must be able to withstand basic living conditions: dormitory-style sleeping arrangements, cold showers, no television, laundry by hand, help in meal preparations, shared cleaning
* Airport pickup and transfer
