Description:
Our staff persons assist the residents in their daily activities. Beginning at breakfast and ending at bedtime, the staff offers whatever support is needed by residents. Residents lead active lives. They go to church, visit friends and relatives, go shopping, go swimming or bowling, work in the garden and share chores in the group home.
Highlights:
The Habitat is located in central Kentucky, with many sites of interest surrounding us. We take day trips frequently to recreational areas and festivals.
Qualifications:
- Volunteers must be patient, compassionate caregivers. - Experience in social services is preferred but not essential. - Our volunteers must speak English.

Cost Include Description:
Harmony Habitat, Inc., offers free room amd board plus a monthly stipend.

Typical Volunteer: Our volunteers are usually thirty years old or older. Male or female. They must have patience and compassion to work with the residents. No special skills sre required but gardening or farming experience is helpful.
Age Range: Harmony Haritat serves adults of all ages.
