It offers an intriguing mix of tropical forests, majestic mountains, mysterious Mayan temples, and excellent opportunities for diving and fishing. In a single day you can go from tropical forests to the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. You'll work in real projects while gaining real experience! Work side by side with local community members, watch the moon rise over the rainforest, hike through the jungle from your front door, explore Mayan ruins, and search for monkeys in the secluded jungle. These and other weekly adventures combine with cultural excursion and productive volunteer work to form a comprehensive and unique summer experience. Cost Include Description:
Program fees support our host community economies in the forms of project materials purchases, local salaries, host family payments, and local purchases. Program fees include: full room and board, domestic transportation, 24 hour safety and medical services, and funding of development projects and internships. The program fee also includes world class cultural and adventure activities.

Typical Volunteer: ProWorld volunteers are adventurous, enthusiastic, caring, sensible, humble, and curious individuals. Volunteers are expected to learn and grow while improving themselves and the communities in which ProWorld works.
