Description: Our unique program in Costa Rica enables you to combine Spanish language study with volunteer work. There are a variety of volunteer projects you can choose to work on. You have the option to work with: children, sea turtles, local communities, public health care, organic farmers, high school students, elderly people, rehabilitating injured marine animals, and much more. Spend your vacation making a difference while you get to know one of the world's most beautiful countries as no tourist will!

We provide you with airport pickup, language classes, orientation, placement in a volunteer project, homestay with three meals a day and laundry service, local support in country and in the United States and more. Don't wait! Contact us now for more information!

Qualifications:
* Intermediate knowledge of Spanish is preferred, although you can start your program with small group language classes.
* At least 18 years old
* Eligible to receive a tourist visa to Costa Rica
* Flexible, in good health and have a desire to contribute
* No TEFL certificate required, though teaching experience is helpful

Cost in US$: Program fee starts at $1,300

Typical Volunteer: As a volunteer in Costa Rica, participants gain insight into problems facing the country and help contribute to their solutions, while at the same time gaining valuable educational and professional experience. These volunteer programs are in turn enhanced by the abilities, energy and goodwill that volunteers like you bring to each project.
