Description: Make a difference in some of the world's most critical conservation and community projects with Global Vision International. You can join challenging expeditions as diverse as: Marine conservation in Mexico and the Seychelles, Wildlife Conservation in the Amazon Rainforest, Costa Rica, South Africa and Kenya, community development in Mexico and high altitude exploration in Patagonia. You can also join a variety of volunteer placements with GVI's partner's organisations in over 15 countries such as: volunteer work with indigenous communities in Guatemala and Ecuador, turtle protection in Panama, teaching in Nepal and Gibbon rehabilitation in Thailand. Field work placements, internships and jobs in the field are also available.

International Volunteer Positions

Highlights: Volunteering will provide you with new friends, new skills, the opportunity to explore a new country and culture, learn a language and have a rewarding travel experience which can often be life changing.

Benefits also include training and in some cases recognized professional qualifications. Many ex GVI Volunteers go on to gain places on postgraduate programs in environmental related fields as well as jobs. Excellent career networks available for those seeking employment in these sectors.

Qualifications: GVI welcomes individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds. No previous experience is necessary to participate in a GVI project, but you will need to be:

- committed to our aims and projects
- respectful of the culture, environment and communities of the host country
- over 18 years old
- and have a basic understanding of English
